Palm Beach County new construction is mostly a high-priced market right now. Of 378 single-family homes built in 2025 or later and listed for sale, 247 ask $2 million or more. Builder-community townhomes start at $430,000 and single-family at $649,990 (Flexmls, Beaches MLS, October 3, 2026). Double-check the listing you are interested in, because prices change daily.
That is the part the model homes do not tell you. Drive past a sales center in Westlake or Greenacres and you would think new homes are everywhere at every price. The MLS says something different. Under $1 million, the choices thin out fast, and they are concentrated in a handful of communities in the central and western part of the county.
Here is where they are.

Townhomes are where most of the under-$500,000 new construction lives. In the single-family column, only 16 of 378 new homes ask under $750,000, and another 44 sit between $750,000 and $1 million.

| Under $750,000 | 16 |
| $750,000 to $999,999 | 44 |
| $1 million to $1,999,999 | 71 |
| $2 million and up | 247 |

The builders named on this page's search and in the MLS include Lennar, Pulte Homes, DiVosta Homes, Toll Brothers, Kolter Homes, Minto Communities, D.R. Horton, GL Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes, Akel Homes and Meritage Homes. Each runs its own communities, incentives and contracts, so compare them one at a time.
Now let me shoot you straight.
The person who greets you in the model works for the builder. They are friendly, they know the floor plans cold, and their job is to sell you that builder's house at that builder's price. That is fine. Just know who is on your side of the table.
Here is what we would want answered before you sign anything:
Many builders only let an agent represent you if the agent is with you on your first visit. If you register alone, you may be on your own for the whole deal.
That is what The Wilder Way to New Construction is built for. It is our free guide to buying new in Palm Beach County, including what builders will not tell you until you have already signed.

Boynton Beach gets searched more than any other city on this page, so here is the straight answer. Thirteen homes with a 2025 or 2026 year built are listed for sale in Boynton Beach. Eight are GL Homes single-family homes in Valencia Del Mar, Valencia Grand and Whitworth, asking $1,384,900 to $2,014,900 (Flexmls, October 3, 2026).
If your budget is under $1 million and you want new, Boynton Beach is not where the MLS shows it today. Look west to Greenacres, Lantana and Westlake on the table above.
Ask each builder directly whether a home is move-in ready, close to finished, or still to be built, since that changes by the week. Finished homes move faster and you know exactly what you are getting. To-be-built homes let you choose the lot and options, but you are waiting months and living with whatever the market does in between.
Neither is wrong. If you have a lease ending or a house to sell, a finished home usually wins. If you are flexible and particular, building often does.

A lot of new construction buyers have a house to sell first. Builders set closing dates, and they do not move them because your buyer's lender is slow. Getting those two dates to line up is the whole game. The Wilder Way to Sell and Buy is how we line them up.
